Congrats. My guess is since it was new, they're gonna eat the cost themselves just to keep you happy. I suggest taking them a couple of soda's (or beer) upon picking up your bike! The shop hooked you up. They could've easily said, "Sorry, not a warranty issue!". Plus, if you DO take them some type of Tip (drinks, pizza, cookies...etc.) they're more likely to remember you and help you out again.
