More like its been repalced. The bottle rocket is now the fr and the preston is a burly trail bike. The pivot move is likely to reduce pedal induced bob and make a stiffer ride.

2006 Bottlerocket and Preston were soooo similar, only a small difference in geometry. It would make for a very difficult sale having 2 virtually identical bikes.
