That's why 98 % of our riding is on the path. Some think it's boring but we've almost been hit so many times out here, it aint funny. My immediate area aint rider frinedly.
Even on the SART, there was a detour but the golf course at last year. We had to cross at a light. We got the green so we take off. No cars around. As we reach the other side, some old man comes flying up to the intersection and slams on his brakes sliding inot the direction of our legs. All we can do is grip the bike tightly. He stopped about 2 feet from our legs as the back end of his car lifted!
