I stupidly bought a BMX stem with the wrong size clamp. I have a never used but cr@p Bontrager riser bar I was going to use with the new stem but it'll be too big just like my current flat bar is.
So I was wondering whether I should stick with this stem (I love the look) and get a compatible bar like:
or get a replacement stem.
I used this for light XC, getting into some technical single trail, and I'm about 200lbs.
btw yes, that particular flat bar does look terrible. Bear in mind I used to lock this bike in the city centre a lot - that helped a treat
