Most of the people who are into riding a bike enough to jabber about it on the internet value bikes for something beyond utility as you define it. They are also posting out of more than a simple enthusiasm for riding a bike. As human beings in a consumer culture most of like approval and enjoy feeling "in the know" to some extent, myself included. If this board didn't feed
