yesterday evening was i think my best time ever. even with the headwind...
the final shipment of parts for my NEW bike were waiting when i got there (along with my SO and plans for a tasty dinner), so i hauled @s$ so that i could get her built and adjusted and tested to ride this morning. i did the majority of the building (under the watchful eye of my bike guru SO) and he did all of the adjusting, which i have no patience for... took her around the block a couple times and went to bed greasy and happy.

this morning on the way to work was effortless and FAST.

what a difference a BRAND NEW BIKE makes!!!!! my cyclometer died a while back, so i have no evidence for this, but i swear i am 10x as fast .

i never knew it could be like this.
