+1 on the stool softener, after I wipe, I use a medicated towelette (with witch hazel) and of course, creme or supositories when they're real bad.

Mine also bleed. First started when I was 12 following a bike accident. Was doing a wheelie and looped over and landed on my buttocks. Started bleeding then.

Will have to eventually have them removed, but waiting for the new insurance to kick in. (New Job).
