I was thinking of using the rims, brakes, bars, BB, Crankset and stem on my UO8, but I'm wondering if I would be better off selling the bike complete and buying the parts I need elsewhere. What would this bike be worth if I cleaned it up flipped it? What do you think the frame alone would be worth?
To a large extent, it depends on where you live, but I doubt you'll make more than a modest increase on it. Does that bike have two front wheels? At the very least, you'll need to put a freewheel on it.
