The Blinky 5 is natively a clip-on blinkie, so it goes right onto the helmet's occipital-lobe band.
I believe a blinkie at a higher plane is a wise choice. My helmet is a 'giyo' and it has that same strap. I just need get a blinkie as big as yours.
