Do "the numbers" and get back to us, also check to see how each bike is set up under you, this will take some effort and another person, with the a crank set at 9 o'clock, forward and level to the ground, mark the center of your knww joint and run a plumb bob down past your pedal, note how this vertical line passes at, forward or behind the pedal axle, and how much. I mark a spot on my hip joint and measure forward to the handlebar "hook", the region where you place your hand on the bar, at the middle area of where your hand crabs, this will give you a guide as to how the bikes fit under you.

My experience is that different geometries guide one to a different position, knowing what you have and how you relate to it will provide good info.

There is plenty written about trail, BB height (from a frame makers perspective - drop, below the wheel axle of the bb center) seat tube angle and top tube length, chainstay length too.

Back when I raced I had two bikes, a road bike and a criteruim bike, now this was before clipless pedals, today BB height is not as big an issue as the pedals provide much more clearance than vintage "quill" pedals, insert Campagnolo there. On a long ride, give me the road bike every time, for a criterium, back then a well done criterium bike could make winning easier.
