Y'all have heard me talk them up left and right. I mean, yeah, what they did to the 3rensho was hottttt. But I have issues, to say the least, with their work on the Jonny. (I am 100% satisfied, and completely in love with, my frame and original paint from Jonny. I was the one who did something dumb to ruin the paint, fyi.)
I totally recommend staying MILES AWAY from Spectrum Powder Works.
You should probably know that, should you have qualms about the quality of their work and should you choose to speak about your experience, you may get a note that reads something like this:
"We are completely happy with the job we did for you (given what we had to work with). The photos are not a reflection of a poor job done by us but imperfections in the polishing and finish work done by the builder. By definition, slander = a false and malicious statement injurious to a persons reputation. So, we are not trying to "scare" you into not sharing your experiences with others but suggesting you know what you are talking about before making statements that are false in regards to our finishes. You are entitled to your opinions but be careful of how you state them, as our web master will be keeping a keen eye on the forums and comments regarding this issue. We will send our email correspondence with you to our attorney so there is no misunderstanding."
Just wanted to share this "customer service" gem. (I should add that the "builder imperfection" argument came out after they did the work, not before. If you can't do a job right, maybe you shoulda just said no to it?)

oh, and since their lawyer's gonna see this (*wave* HI LAWYER!) you should know that the above is my opinion but I'd say, whether or not you agree that the masking was coloring-book-like, customer service like this is just sad.
