I might be barking up the wrong tree on this one, but if my decade-old MTB worked flawlessly pulling a loaded bob, why should I pay big bucks for a touring bike,upgrades,racks and panniers.
My only problem on the first trip was hand discomfort.
Now I have front suspension.
I know most people who tour, use panniers, but are they factoring in all the costs including the bike ?
You can certainly get by with alot less bike for pulling a trailer.
In this case, the whole rig will be around $600.00 delivered.
