You just keep on riding that bike, dude! What everyone else on this board is saying is true. Eventually the nay-sayers will taper off and begin to accept that this is just who you are. And I bet you any amount that your friends and family are probably already bragging about you behind your back.

I've been commuting to work 14 miles everyday for the last three years, and guys at work still shake their heads and call me crazy. The mental, and physical well-being I get from riding my bike to work is priceless.
