Agreed. As I said before, statistics rarely paint the whole picture, and this case isn't one of them. If lane-claiming is "so dangerous", how have I survived over 100,000km doing so, without so much as breaking a fingernail, never mind being "run over". My post on a previous page somewhere shows how I read those statistics, and that only about 2% of the crashes they mentioned could have even
possibly arisen from lane claiming.
