Hypnotherapy for weight control

Anybody here have any experience or knowledge with hypnotherapy for the purpose of weight loss/control? Does it really work or is it a hoax?

For the most part I eat a healthy diet. Lean meats, veggies, fruits, etc. I don't do caffeine, alcohol, drugs, or smoke. But I have one weakness/addiction that I just haven't been able to overcome. Donuts!

I previously lost 67 Lbs on Weight Watchers and kept it off for nearly two years. Lately though I've been struggling with stress eating at work and have been gaining back weight that I worked so hard to loose. Even though I've put over 4000 miles on my bike in the last year I'm still gaining weight.

The main source of temptation is that just outside my office door is the snack bar for my building. They cook all kinds of greasy unhealthy food there and I have done well not to eat it. However the one thing they have that I can't seem to stay away from are the fresh bakery donuts! Every time I leave or enter my office I have to walk through the snack bar. All day long I smell their food. Due to the servers I babysit and the fact that there are no other choices for my office location I am stuck with this daily distraction/temptation.

If I could afford to quit my job I would just to get away from this unhealthy environment but I can't. So I must continue to try to find away to stay away from the unhealthy stuff. It would seem that if I could be hypnotized to not want to eat donuts the problem would be solved. Which brings me back to my question does hypnotherapy really work for weight control?

Any help would be appreciated.
