I have multiple Cannondales and have ridden all three, and the System Six and Six/13 are IMO better. I have a Six/13 now.

Frankly, if you are budget minded, the CAAD9 will be better.

If not, then look at the Six/13 and System Six. They are not starter bikes and not at all inexpensive.

The NEW Six/13 is pretty stiff, but lighter than its CAAD8 counterpart (due to the back of the bike)...the newer one is stiffer than the original.
