1. Unless your stems have exactly the same clamp height you might have to add or delete a stack spacer. That's not a big deal.

2. When you install your new stem you will have to reset your headset bearing preload. That's not a big deal either as long as you do it in the right sequence. Check the Park Tool website if you're not sure.
