I REALLY wish I had been able to do this one (grew up in LR). Unfortunately, 8 hours one way in the truck w/ a 4 year old was a bit more than I was ready for.

I'm guessing that it was a pretty popular and well publicized event because my dad called me on Thursday and suggested I come home and do it. He knows I ride, but that's about it.

Glad it was a good ride, but I agree w/ psuaero - we need more details! And 5:44 in the saddle is an EXCELLENT time for your first century. I did my third yesterday and I'm still trying to break the 6:00 mark.
