I guess the point that I'm making is that for the entire year that I've had tubular clinchers I've not once had a flat, they've only been replaced due to wear or to prevent a flat. Not the case with the clinchers. I wouldn't have had to worry bout the rough roads as much with teh tubular clinchers.
