Did it in 55:54, came in 55th overall. That was a hard ride. 6th out of 54 in my age group (19-29). T-shirt is hella janky, though, way too big (why did they order so many x-larges? how many clydesdales finish in less than an hour?), looks like something straight from Napoleon Dynamite. I took my geared bike. I'd need to drop my gearing significantly to deal
with that climb. maybe even a flip flop for the descent - definitely a brake! lol...
and yeah, the t-shirts were kinda janky. I noticed the "one size fits all"
attempt on a few of the more trim riders... pretty funny. and talk about
bike pron... good gawd - some serious machines out there yesterday.
I'm surprised there aren't more posts here from other riders!?!?!?
