Don't mess with the tension! Playing around with the tension can ruin a Brooks! There's a rumour that Brooks no longer includes a special wrench with each new saddle, in order to stop would-be tweakers buggering-up perfectly good saddles. Yours hasn't been tweaked by any chance, has it… ?

PS: I just took a look at you original pics and it looks like normal breaking in. Here is a pic of one of my Brooks saddles (just over a year old); you'll see it has similar wrinkles (it has never been wrenched):
