You do the crime, you do the time (er... pay the fine)!

Yeah, at stop signs, I usually slow to a trackstand and then take off. Many times I am just shy of a complete stop but mostly I try to track stand for a second or two. Safest bet IMHO and you don't have to unclip.

Sorry to hear about your ticket though.
