I'm fine with getting caught. I'm fine with paying the fee. I know I screwed up and I'll pay the consequences. the thing I'm not fine with is the police's inconsistancy. They don't just not enforce during the summer, the enforcement doesn't happen year round outside of the begining days of the school year. I'm not against ticketing cyclist. I've seen many (including myself) deserving it sometimes. but if you're going to do it...DO IT. Don't half @$$ it. Like my situation this morning. It wouldn't take much to have a couple of officers after the corner pulling everyone over and giving everyone tickets instead of letting people off because they were breaking the law when the officer was busy with someone else. I've seen it done for cars that were going down a hill too fast in my old hometown. I've lived in this town for 5 years and this has always been a problem. I guess I should stop being the problem and start being the solution.
