Yes! Invest in a torque wrench. A little one that does in-lbs seems to be most useful on a bike. (The big 1/2" drive ones aren't accurate below about 10-15 ft-lbs (120-180 in-lbs) so they are essentially useless for most bike bolts.) I got mine at Harbor Freight for $20 but can spend considerably more for better quality.
