eBay is safe, dont get into the misconseption that it is not safe. "Do your own Due Dillagance"

Follow steps:

1. You ALWAYS use the checkout option though ebay, do the correct procedures. NEVER do 'under the counter' transactions through email. NEVER.
2. USE PayPal - you are covered up to $1000AUD. (unless the person on the other end closes their PayPal account)
3. Check sellers feedback - but most importatntly - check the buyers feedback who bought from that seller! If it looks suspicious then do a bit of research on this guys previous auctions - feedback, then that buyers feedback. Go back through the chain...if they all have "0" feedback, then forget it.

Of course theres always the chance of a scam. But you dont need to be a super nerd to spot one. I have saved so much $$ buying genuine bike parts off eBay its not funny!
