Langster or Pista?

I need to buy I fixed-gear, so I can ride like I did while in the US the past 8 months - I'm now back in London. I want a ready made one, as I'm an awful mechanic and I don't have the time (maybe that's just an excuse). I'm having real trouble deciding which to get, even though I think in England the choice is only between the Bianchi Pista and the Specialized Langster in my price range, or this guy I came across who makes them in some town I've never heard of.

I know the question's been asked before, but maybe it'll help me to decide when all the answers are addressed to me. So for those who have cycled both the Pista and the Langster, what differences will I notice? This is almost solely for commuting.

Someone said the Pista's a little heavy: does that make a difference? I guess we're talking about a couple of pounds at the most on top of my weight? How does the steel versus aluminium question affect the ride? and has anyone found the aluminium isn't durable enough? is the Pista geometry too much designed for track racing to be comfortable? if there's nothing in it, I probably will go for the Pista as it's so much more beautiful.

Never posted on here before, so I guess that's enough for my first. I hope I can work out how to find the answers.
