being robbed can be a blessing?

It is in my book. In January, our garage was broken into while we slept, and my old hunk-a-junk MTB was stolen, along with a bunch of tools. Homeowners policy sucks, but my hubby and I both ended up getting new bikes in July, and have been loving it. His bike was stolen 3 yrs ago, and just replaced.
Mine: Kona CinderCone
His: Kona Explosif
I'd been a runner, but with meniscal injury, and not wanting to push arthoscopic, I decided to go for low impact exercise, and love biking again!
Glad to find this forum, even if it's after the fact. I know I could have learned more prior to purchase, but heck, I just wanted to get on a bike!
