I had problems with those gatotoskins but for me it was mainly the desert cactus prickers in SE california, arizona, and utah. For me they were totally worthless. And I only weigh in at about 160. Maybe it was the hundreds of miles on hot asphalt but those tire seemed so soft they'd just pick up debri that would pierce right through the protective belt. But it sounds like for you its just a plain old popping issue???? If this is correct make sure your tires, tubes and rims correspond with each other. And experiment with that back tire pressure. Why not try something like 105-110 psi. Its not like your on the velodrome. I'm no expert but experiment with tire size. Like if your riding 23's go 25. The innertubes change in size when jumpin from 23 to 25 too. Perhaps thicker but I'm not too sure about that one. How about the inside of those rims, rim tape? Smooth? Jagged rusty spoke nubs? Installing those inner tubes correctly? They ain't being pinched are they? Cause your dilemna shouldn't necesarily be a weight issue. I got a friend bigger than you. He's got to be the size of baby cow. 250 something. And he only gets flats when poppin bunny hops over cop cars and ****.
