Yes he did! Not only that, I don't think he had any kind of bag or water bottle on his bike. I must say that I didn't have any gloves with me either, but I have black tape and a bandana in my pocket. I have some of the Purell stuff in my bag too, but I never remember to use it unless I stop to eat.
