I've recently built up my track bike & I'm having some chainline issues. The rear spacing is 120mm & I'm using a flip flop hub with comprable spacing. Its an older italian frame so the BB I found is a shimano with a 107 spindle length & i'm using Sugino RD cranks/ring which can be put on a 103-107 BB. I can see that the chainring is farther out then the cog is & I can hear the effect. I'm wondering if I need to get myself a 103 BB, which is hard to find in a 70mm Italian Thread ( I think phil wood does but ..pricey). The other option would be to move the chain ring inside, I'd rather not but I'm not sure if there are other options or if that would be a very good idea. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
