You either have a "Festival Replica" (quite rare in their own right) or you have a genuine article that somehow escaped the crusher.
Wow, that sure would be somethign else huh? Do you know the year? I learned today (from only one source though) that Basso's first two numbers in the s/n are supposed to be the year model. The number on this one is 705045 I believe, so I'd make that to be a 1970 model.
That would certainly be an amazing story if this is in fact one of those frames. Ironically, that's why I built it, to go out on drinking rides with the other fixie guys....
