I have a nice vintage stem whose finishing is in less then perfect condition, but not horrible condition. I read somewhere else in these forums that the price to rechrome the piece would be dependent on the condition of the item (work involved to prep the piece) so it might be worth it for me to rechrome.
Does anyone have experience with having this done, contacts/addresses? (locally if possible?)
