The best part of the Eastside bike path is the Speedway which is up above the Macombs Projects. It's a straight shot up to Dyckman making it one of, if not the, fastest way to scoot up to Inwood and from there on up to The North Bronx. There are hardly any people using it. It runs along side the Harlem River Drive. If you head up Central Park West and then continue along Frederick Douglas it's a pretty fast way to go. Riding on the Eastside is not terribly pleasant for the most part.
