i've tried both flats and 2" risers and the risers are superior in every way for me. the position just feels so much more comfortable and natural, the bend is WAAAAAY more anatomical, and skids, track stands, etc. all feel much easier than with flats. as some other people will be quick to point out, nothing is easier than bullhorns for that stuff, but i tried 'em and wasn't crazy about them, so maybe they're just not for everyone.

i'd say give risers a try - cut them down a little for city riding, but make sure to leave them at least at your shoulder width, slap on some OURY grips, and get ready for some fun.

ps. they also look really hot
