Bikes: 2025 Enve Fray with SRAM Rival, 1984 Trek 720 with a Nexus hub, 2016 Cannondale Synapse

I want to do the same with my 1984 trek 720.

Near as I can tell I would get almost the same gear ratios and easier maintenance.

Now just to figure out the money part to do it.

That is one sweet looking commuter
