I have the bigger version and If I had to do it again I would have gotten the Velocity. The width makes it hard to see around when head checking. The only issue I've had is the strap pulling out where they are bolted onto the backing (from me carring some pretty heavy loads). A few nylon washers fixed the problem.
Other than these minor issues, it's a great piece of gear. Comfortable, and the rigid back keeps stuff from poking you. Totally waterproof as advertised.
