You really ought to call
Lou at Foxwear. He is a cyclist and understands how to make tights that work for cycling. He made me a pair of powershield tights a couple winters ago, and I can't say enough about them. On top of that, he sends you several fabric samples and lets you pick, with his input of course.
Plus the price is very reasonable. These are the only tights i have found that i would recommend.
