Yep, I think we basically agree. Sometimes if all else fails it is indeed smart to use the crosswalk and perhaps even wait on the other side of the intersection until all the traffic goes through and perhaps even until the light changes - then the move into the traffic lane is easy.

(DannoXYZ - this is the absolute best signature on Earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just sat and stared at it for several minutes! I think I shall save it and look at it whenever I am stressed or pissed off for immediate stress relief! )
