The same goes for AOL'ese in my ever-so-humble opinion. This is a rant I've been battling with the Mods over for a long time. It had gotten to the point that Joe included a "No AOL'ese" clause in the Forum guidelines:
Disruption...Posts which intend to disrupt the topic of conversation or steer the topic away from the focus of the forum and related news. Disruption can include harassment, multiple user profiles, multiple posting of the same post and posting completely off topic messages. Please do your best when it comes to grammar, punctuation and spelling. Consistent use of "AOL'ese" and "hAx0r" talk can be very disruptive.
My gripe? The offending posts get reported, yet no action is taken. No friendly reminders / warnings no PM's saying hey thanks for bringing that to our attention (not anymore). Heck even our ol' buddy Mr. Nospellum from a own named for a Scandanavian country in Michigan is back to his old level of poor usage and articulation of the English language (after REPEATED warnings). Apparantly people don't care anymore.
