I had a different experience with EAI; I felt like both
cogs I had wore out unusually fast. I did put several
thousand miles on them, but the Dura-Ace I've used
since then has seemed to be holding held up longer
(and quieter, as well).

Oh, and I've always used a Dura-Ace lockring. The
same one for seven or eight years now, I think.
