At the moment, I think the Milano is the best buy for a internal gear hub equipped bike. A lot of the bigger companies seem to be putting Nexus hubs on big heavy cruisers. I asked a young guy at the local Trek store (store, not dealer) about any models with a Nexus 8, and he asked me why I would want one.

I fantasize that someday the Rohloff hubs will go down to half there current price at least. Hey, it's more realistic that a lot of my other fantasies.
