If the other half does not accommodate to the basaic needs of the other half, the marriage would not survive. Yes, you need make time for her necessities,too . But, that applies to you too. If couldn't get in my 4 hour ride once/ twice a month.( That is not asking too much, thank god i don't have that problem.). Well, My stares would outstare hers. I think you need to have a serious sit down talk and do some compromise.
My wife knows she can't deny me my neediest of needs. I'd be not fit to live with. Take up running. No way.
