I bought a similar bike and it is nice.
As you mentioned, I think the year is a little off in the ad, because the derailleurs look like an older model than mine. Mine is a 1989 (I think) and has the Shimano 600/Ultegra 7 speed indexed setup. I believe that bike has indexed 6 speed. Front is friction on mine (and that one), but on a double, it is really the same.
The Centurion Ironman bikes have nice Tange frames, and I believe you will find the weight at about 22 pounds.
As far as price, I bought mine for about 1/2 of the $250 asking price. But, I live in an area where road bikes don't sell very well. I hear that prices are higher in the Portland area.
I would say that if you are looking for a nice vintage 12 speed bike with indexed down tube shifters and a fairly light lugged steel frame, then it is worth a look, and test ride.
For $250, in my opinion it should be nearly flawless except for minor cosmetic issues. But if that bike is as nice as it looks, it is much better than you could get for twice that much money new.
Let us know how it goes!
