The crash wasn't in that race and didn't immediately wreck the frame, it started a crack at the head tube lug that I didn't see right away and then it slowly fatigued until it became visible a few months later.

I traded a photographer friend of mine my car stereo for a photo shoot and a ride to the race. I have some more of those photos somewhere I should scan in... nice to see myself so thin!

The downtube is in my garage with a bunch of other broken souveniers. I should have a museum.
