I must concur. I went to C'est What after a bit of a hiatus. Damn, I missed their coffee porter. You can check up on events at

Relatively local beers are Headstrong Pale Ale, Blackoak Nut Brown Ale, Hockley Dark. Microbrews C'est What makes good everything, Granite Brewery's Peculiar is good, but it's a family-type pub restaurant. Tons of small craft brewers around. I, too, like beer.
