Just curious if anyone has ridden their fixed gear during a psychedelic experience. I noticed something pretty bizzare last weekend... Riding the fixed gear puts you in almost a cosmic rhythm. Everything falls into place, the bike pretty much rides itself, and you stay really calm and mellow. You basically just ride around really slow feeling absolutely content.

When I traded bikes with my freewheel road bike riding friend everything changed. I was really anxious, kept wondering where we were going, couldnt' understand why the fixed gears were riding so slow. It was really strange. There was a marked difference between the feelings you got from the different bikes...

Has anyone else had similar experience?
