Back off on the tension bolt 1/4 turn, treat it once with Neetsfoot oil and ride it. after 500 miles it'll have nice little indents to match your sitz bones, tighten it back 1/4 turn and ride on, it'll just keep gettin comfier. Once yearly hit it with Obernauf's for protection......
