On the to TT (yesterday).
In the 17-18 race that Brandon kid on @Doge's team beat Adrien, boom. And Doge's kid had a good result, nice.
Also, Rossi did NOT win the Men's Open TT. Korus from Mike's did.
That's two champion's jerseys for one team in a few days, jeez!

Apparently a rider I helped out a bit last year has podiumed at Nationals. He podiumed "today" so it must be TT? I don't know the schedule etc etc but wow, I'm psyched for him.

Not enough bees for Velopromo.
I raced a district road race in the same vicinity the year that there were a lot of fires - smoke in the air. It was hot, dry and with a taint of smoke in the air. That coupled with the altitude got me in two laps out of the four and two days of coughing. Of course, some guys loved it and in fact thought it should have been longer.

40% chance of thunderstorms in Truckee tomorrow! F it I'm still racing no matter what.
But as randomly as those t-storms showed up on the forecast, I'm hoping they can randomly go away.
Also just realized the crit is run in the opposite direction of what I thought it was. Now instead of a bunch of corners leading to a short sprint, there's two corners leading to a longer sprint. So it goes.

Yeah luckily that crash wasn't me!!
Neat crit course, but I was really glad it dried out in time for our race, with so many manhole covers in the turns..
Was also surprised there wasn't a crash in the final corner, it was tight and fast.

there don't seem to be many youtube videos up other than Matt's - was it streamed somewhere, or other video to go watch?

I was just trying to find some too; Justin(?) Williams will surely have one up before too long, and I've got a GoPro from my race but unfortunately I didn't catch much exciting in it.
It wasn't streamed anywhere that I know of.. but I did see a guy with a tripod/big camera setup so maybe there's an "official" video coming eventually.

Swapped cassettes 4 days before and did not check weights. That put him under about 2 oz. They weighed the top ten bikes (@tetonrider).
I though he was going to win this one as he bridged to the break, but - it didn't happen and he missed going with the final attack and melted the final 10% grade.
We weighed a bunch of bikes after and found 4 under weight, but they were outside the top 10. Certainly depressing, but he needed the win, and as he didn't get that, just another opportunity lost.
He's racing in Belgium this week (then France, then Germany) with bolt-on lead.

Cory Willams rides with a helmet cam. I haven't seen video from Justin Williams but maybe he does too. But I don't think Justin was in the race, he was at TOAD.
