I have the S5, and it really is annoying when I drop the chain. Tends to get stuck bad between the frame and chainrings. Once I had to remove quick link to get it out. So might try another bike in 2018 (and maybe try 165s while I'm at it. Don't wanna spend out the ass this year though.

^ happened to me with my current S5 and old S2. was told it had something to do with the length of the chain stays or something. either way, annoying when it happens. I'm an unrepentant cervelo fanboy though so I'll probably keep buying them.

My S2 was fine but this one has had problems with the stuck chain. Love the bike otherwise though

I did, on both bikes. It pretty just means that when the chain gets sucked down there it's never coming out without taking off the crank :\

And for my 400m "sprints"; even a quarter-second is big when it comes down to a sprint. When I lost to Jan at Red Kite by like half a wheel, that was what .001 seconds?
0.001s is tire width territory, not half a wheel.

I never went with aero bars. Just wasn't comfortable with them. Like you I was in plenty of breaks.

I'm running a knockoff Cervelo bar.

Simple solution to the grip problem: skateboard deck tape.

My ergonova broke today during a sprint. Must have been damaged in a crash cuz I'm not that strong! Was near Mike's bikes and bought what they had to finish the ride. Now I have sworks something. Idk. It's carbon, shorter reach and doesn't flare out like the old ones. It's fine, whatever. Got a 15% discount cuz I had sjbc kit on.

i was curious. if my math is right, 1/2 a wheel @ 40mph is ~0.02s. a tire width (~25mm) would be ~0.0015s.

can someone remind me if the east coast or west coast sprint speeds are 40mph? i can't remember.

Does anyone have any sources for the 3T aeronova pro? So far it looks like the 3T website is the way to go...doesn't seem like anyone stocks the aluminum bars, and im not ready to make the switch to carbon bars (neither is my wallet)..

How well does that bar work for IAB? And what stem length are you running?
Given that most of the wing shape is ahead of the stem clamp, I imagine you'd have to stretch your arms out somewhat to get the needed support?

Not really for this bike, but I didn't get the DA calipers. This goes on the Venge.

Compare to my 1981 or so Modolo Kronos.
