Here's how to train to race
A lot of you have been asking how to train to race. Since criteriums are the most common race here in the U.S., this article can really help. These workouts mentioned are especially good to do this winter when you've got some lovely time to spend being intimate with your trainer.

No problem, Rainman. Glad you liked it. I'm thinking about sharing more articles with you guys, since there seems to be a good size of people here who are thinking about racing in the spring, wondering how to train through the winter, or how to get into better training habits, period! I think I can really help out with that. Who knows, maybe I'll write a few things of my own this winter.
We'll see!

Go for it! We could all use a little training advice.

I got my hands on Chris Charmichael's video on climbing. It's a 60 minute workout that focuses partly on strength and partly on tempo, both workouts at threshold, and both focused on climbing. But they will also greatly increases your leg strength. It's a great workout to make your thighs scream at you...you can get it on his website

I also have a couple of the Spinerval workouts..a 45 minute and a 60 minute time trial workout. Both pretty good.
